La fotografia documentaria

Il Centro di Fotografia Indipendente e L’Asilo, comunità dei lavoratori dello spettacolo e dell’immateriale presentano il sesto incontro di fotografia all’Asilo

Massimo Berruti (Italia 1979 ) è un fotografo documentarista con sede a Roma . Ha trascorso quasi 4 anni di lavoro in Asia centrale e prevalentemente in Pakistan , analizzando la sua storia contemporanea e il coinvolgimento nella ‘guerra al terrore’ attraverso le conseguenze sulla popolazione . Questa vasta indagine è il suo primo progetto a lungo termine intitolato “The Path Dusty “. Si avvicina alla fotografia per la prima volta nel 2003 , mentre era ancora studente di biologia. Nel 2004 comincia a lavorare come free lance dove partecipa ad un progetto collettivo sulla crisi culturale ed economica italiana, lavoro che è stati pubblicato più tardi nel febbraio del 2006 in un volume dal titolo “Made in Italy” .
Nell’ottobre 2005 entra nell’Agenzia Grazia Neri con sede a Milano.
Nell’estate del 2008 è diventato membro a pieno titolo di AgenceVU ( Parigi).

Massimo Berruti (Italy 1979) is a documentary photographer based in Rome. He spent almost 4 years working in central Asia and prevalently in Pakistan, analyzing it’s contemporary history and involvement in the War on Therror scenario through it’s implications on the population. This extensive coverage became his first long term project lately titled “The Dusty Path”. He approached photography for the very first time in 2003 while he was still continuing his studies in biology. In 2004 he started a full time free lance self-teaching experience followed by two friends photographers who invited him to participate in a collective project about Italian cultural and economical crisis, work that have been published later in feb 2006 by Trolley Books in a volume titled “Made in Italy”.

On October 2005 he joined the no longer existing Grazia Neri Agency based in Milan (Italy) and have been represented by them for about three years.
In summer 2008 he became a full member of AgenceVU (Paris).
