Cosa significa stare dietro la telecamera quando si gira per dare voce ad azioni politiche, iniziative sociali e attività mutualistiche all’interno di spazi sociali e beni comuni urbani? Qual è il confine tra arte e propaganda? La comunità dell’asilo ne discute insieme a Theo Prodromidis nell’ambito della AFIELD mentorship program.
Theo è un artista/regista e membro dell’assemblea delle Solidarity Schools Network del Pireo, in Grecia (un’esperienza antirazzista di doposcuola e mutuo insegnamento tra cittadini greci e migranti) e dell’Institute of Radical Imagination. Theo è a Napoli per il suo progetto (con Giuseppe Micciarelli) sulle pratiche partecipative di immagini in movimento per la lotta della vita quotidiana e l’uso creativo del diritto. È qui a Napoli grazie a un programma di ricerca su performatività, partecipazione e cittadinanza sostenuto dal Ministero della Cultura e dello Sport ellenico e col programma di mentorship AFIELD, una rete di iniziative sociali di arti e cultura del Council of Art

Theo is an artist/ filmmaker/ member of the assemblies of the Piraeus Open School for Immigrants, Greece, of the Solidarity Schools Network in Greece and of the Institute of Radical Imagination
Theo is in Naples for his project (with also Giuseppe Micciarelli) on Participatory moving image practices for the struggle of everyday life and the creative use of law. He is here for a research program on performativity, participation and citizenship supported by the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports and the AFIELD mentorship program, a network of social initiatives from arts and culture of Council of Art http://www.council.art/fellowship/
